The prelude sets the tone of your wedding. As your beloved guests enter your ceremony venue, the elegant sound of the harp invite them to settle into the romantic atmosphere. Songs in the prelude are light and romantic, and set the tone of your ceremony. During the prelude, the wedding couple usually take pre-ceremony portraits, and then head inside to the wedding suite for final touch-ups before the ceremony commences. Aysha recommends the prelude to begin 30 minutes prior to your ceremony start time.

Your ceremony begins as your officiant takes their place and advises your guests that the ceremony is about to begin. Your ceremony music includes:

Wedding couples can fully customize their music selections from Aysha’s repertoire. For ceremonies, special requests for arrangements of songs not listed on this website can typically be accommodated*. Aysha can also advise on ceremony music selections to help couples share their love story through song.
*Most popular songs can be arranged for harp with enough notice. A custom arrangement fee may apply depending on the length and complexity of the request.

After the ceremony, Aysha moves the harp to the cocktail hour location. Cocktail hour music consists of popular and well-known music selections, and is customized during the performance to play off the energy of your guests and bring the vibe up from the romance of the ceremony. While Aysha can completely take care of all cocktail hour music, you are welcome to select a few of your favorite songs that you’d like your guests to hear.
For larger weddings, the DJ typically takes over music during dinner. For smaller weddings, harp music can continue through dinner.
